Final Evaluation & Award Ceremony SET 2025, MAPS’25 and Launch of Quality Environment 5.0 (QE 5.0)
The Final Evaluation of SET 2025 and the STIC Program Awards Ceremony (MAPS’25) were held on 19 November 2025 at the Rose Garden, The Magellan Sutera Resort, Kota Kinabalu. From 18 innovation groups representing various hospital facilities, only the top 10 advanced to the final stage. The programme was evaluated by three distinguished judges and supported by external advisors who guided participants throughout the implementation phase.
This initiative aims to cultivate innovation, enhance staff creativity, and improve service efficiency across Sedafiat. In the afternoon, MAPS’25 was officiated by YBhg Datuk Hj Ag Buhtamam, who emphasised the importance of replicating successful innovation projects and encouraged future developments involving IoT, automation, and Artificial Intelligence.
Winners of SET 2025 were Sedafiat Kunak (Safe Mix Support), followed by Sedafiat BFT (Tap & Trace: NFC Smart File Tracker) and Sedafiat Lahad Datu (Eco Air Filter). Special awards were presented to projects from Labuan, Likas and Pitas, while four other teams received consolation prizes.
The launch of Quality Environment 5.0 (QE 5.0) symbolised Sedafiat’s commitment to a high-quality, innovative work culture anchored in digitalisation, sustainability, and workplace safety. Puan Mhyrlyne Rimin was recognised as the winner of the QE 5.0 logo design competition. The event was attended by departmental heads, service leaders, facility managers and Sedafiat staff.
