Towards Environmental Sustainability in Collaboration with MGTC
Sedafiat Sdn. Bhd. successfully hosted the “Guideline on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Management for Healthcare Facilities (Scope 1 & 2 Emissions)” briefing from 14 to 15 April 2025 at Pan Borneo Hotel, Kota Kinabalu.
The session, facilitated by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), was part of an ongoing initiative to strengthen GHG emission management practices across Ministry of Health (MOH) healthcare facilities. A total of 43 participants attended the briefing, comprising engineers from the Sabah State Health Department (JKNS), the Federal Territory of Labuan Health Department (JKWPL), and representatives from various hospitals across Sabah and Labuan.
This initiative reflects Sedafiat’s strong commitment to sustainability and energy management within the Hospital Support Services sector. It also fosters collaboration between facility service providers and government agencies in addressing climate change challenges more effectively.
