Empowering Future Talents: Intra International College Technical Visit to Sedafiat HWKKS
The Industrial Study Visit Program was successfully conducted on January 15, 2026, at Sedafiat Hospital Wanita dan Kanak-Kanak (HWKK) Likas. the event hosted approximately 50 students and 3 accompanying lecturers from Intra International College.
The primary objective of this visit was to provide early industry exposure to Level 2 Electrical Technician students, offering them a firsthand look at professional technical environments and preparing them for their upcoming On-the-Job Training (OJT).
Technical Insights and Operations
Throughout the program, students participated in comprehensive briefing sessions and technical tours of key operational areas, including the Plant Room. The sessions were structured as follows:
- Facility Management Overview: Delivered by Ms. Mayvinne Arcena, providing insights into the complexities of hospital facility maintenance.
- Technical Briefings: Led by Mr. Hasrizul, Mr. Nurdin, and Mr. Rostam, the technical team shared expert knowledge on:
- Standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Best practices in managing critical hospital electrical systems.
- Maintenance of Generators (Genset) and Main Switch Boards (MSB).
A Successful Collaboration
The program concluded successfully, meeting all established objectives. The initiative was coordinated by the Competency and Professional Development Division under the Human Resources and Administration Department (JSMP), in collaboration with the Sedafiat HWKK Likas team, led by Facility Manager Ms. Mayvinne Arcena.
