KOTA KINABALU, 25 August 2026 (12 Rabiulawal 1448H) – Sedafiat Sdn. Bhd. proudly participated in the Sabah State-Level Maulidur Rasul SAW Procession and Gathering 1448H/2026M, held in Kota Kinabalu with approximately 8,000 participants representing 96 contingents.

Sedafiat's contingent comprised 104 employees led by the company's Head of Human Resources and Administration, Mr. Hj Khamis Abd Rashid Majid. The participation reflected more than attendance at a ceremonial event—it demonstrated the company's ongoing commitment to supporting religious, community and unity-driven initiatives that contribute positively to the people of Sabah.

The three-kilometre procession, which began at Padang Merdeka and concluded at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), brought together government agencies, statutory bodies, educational institutions, non-governmental organisations and local communities. The procession was led by the Speaker of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly, Datuk Seri Panglima Kadzim M. Yahya, while the overall programme was chaired by YB Datuk Dr. Hj Mohd Arifin Bin Datuk Haji Mohd Arif, Sabah's Minister of Local Government and Housing and State Executive Councillor for Islamic Affairs.

Throughout the procession, participants recited selawat in honour of Prophet Muhammad SAW and carried banners expressing their love and devotion to the Prophet.

Sedafiat's participation reflected the company's commitment to supporting religious and community-based programmes that foster appreciation for the teachings and exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad SAW, while strengthening the spirit of unity and harmony within the community.

The celebration brought together participants from all walks of life—including children, youth and adults—making it not only an occasion to reflect on the Prophet's noble character and values, but also a platform for reinforcing brotherhood, social cohesion and the spirit of togetherness among the Muslim community in Sabah.

This participation is also aligned with Sedafiat's commitment to playing an active role in community development and supporting initiatives that strengthen relationships among communities, government agencies and organisations across Sabah.
