The Appointment Ceremony was held on 30 September 2026 at the Chancellery Building, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). The appointment letter was presented by the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Professor Datuk Dr. Kasim Haji Mansor, JP, in recognition of industry leaders’ roles and contributions in strengthening strategic partnerships between industry and academia.
Representing Sedafiat’s Chief Executive Officer at the ceremony was Datin Dr. Mariam bin Mahmun, Corporate Communications Manager. Her attendance reflected Sedafiat’s support for initiatives that promote the sharing of expertise, professional experience and industry knowledge among academics and aspiring entrepreneurs.
