Talk Session with the Minister of Health Malaysia
KOTA KINABALU, 4 September 2026 – The Talk Session with the Minister of Health Malaysia was held at Dewan Wisma Wanita, Kota Kinabalu, through a collaboration between INTAN Sabah Campus and the Sabah State Health Department.
The programme brought together approximately 700 officers from various service schemes, providing a platform for dialogue and knowledge sharing with YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, Minister of Health Malaysia, on the current realities and challenges of healthcare service delivery in Sabah.
During the session, key challenges highlighted included geographical and logistical constraints, infrastructure needs, disease burden, and workforce shortages. The Government reaffirmed its commitment to addressing these challenges through enhanced healthcare facilities, increased development allocations, logistics innovation, and strengthened workforce welfare and staffing.
The event also featured 11 exhibitors from various agencies and organisations, including Sedafiat Sdn. Bhd., which proudly participated in supporting the programme's success.
