Sedafiat Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on the 30th September 2011, as a joint venture between 1Care Consortium Sdn. Bhd. (60%) and Edgenta Mediserve (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. (40%). Sedafiat Sdn. Bhd. had officially signed a Concession Agreement with the Ministry of Health Malaysia on 11th March 2015, which commences on 1st April 2015. Under the new Concession Agreement, Sedafiat Sdn. Bhd. is to undertake the provision of Hospital Support Services for hospitals operated by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, throughout the state of Sabah and The Federal Territory of Labuan for a period of ten (10) years.
Since the commencement of its operation, Sedafiat Sdn. Bhd. had been delivering quality support service continuously to all the 26 government hospitals within the region through incorporating an effective and efficient management system in its daily operations. The company’s success was further highlighted when it receives recognition from the Ministry of Health Malaysia in being awarded the Performance Excellence Achievement Award in Hospital Support Service in three consecutive years, from the year 2016 to 2018, for its overall outstanding service and performance. The company’s achievements and success within the region had further escalate the company’s intention to extend its services and expertise abroad, in line with its vision to become a World-Class Leading Institution in Hospital Support Service.
